The paint is treated by hand with a pre wax oil – to help adhesion of the sealant.

The paint is treated with a mildly abrasive cleansing lotion which contains a mild mixture of cleansing agents, glaze oils and micro abrasives that help remove very light swirl marks.
One layer of our preferred high grade carnauba wax is applied to the paint surface, ensuring a durable level of protection. We’ll talk you through our range of sealants and waxes at the inspection.
The purpose of a Level 1 Detail is to decontaminate the paintwork or PPF (Paint Protection Film). Most commonly, a Level 1 Detail is used to detail satin paint (which cannot be machine polished) or as an ongoing maintenance detail. It doesn’t involve paint correction, and instead, is a thorough deep clean involving both chemical and mechanical decontamination.
The vehicle is deodorised using specially designed anti-bacterial treatment, which breaks down and eliminates bad odour and bacteria instead of masking them.
This is our entry level paint correction detail, which would remove minor imperfections including fine swirls/scratches in the clearcoat/topcoat of the paint. It is perfect for new cars, or cars with dulled paint that need a refresh. This process results in 70% to 80% ‘correction factor’, it does not, however, remove any deeper scratches. We finish the treatment with an organic wax to seal if applicable.
Carpets are shampooed if necessary and dried using a wet suction vacuum cleaner. Specifically designed Alcantara cleaner is applied to revive the Alcantara fibres. All leather surfaces are cleansed and protected. Air vents, button surrounds and fascia are cleaned using specialised brushes.
This is our used car level paint correction detail, which would remove medium imperfections including swirls/scratches in the clearcoat/topcoat of the paint. This process results in 80% to 95% ‘correction factor’, it does not, however, remove any scratches that have gone all the way through the paint. We finish the treatment with an organic wax to seal if applicable.
The Level 3 Detail also includes a thorough rejuvenation of all chromatic and metal elements, e.g. the exhaust tips, door shuts, light and air clusters, washing of the interior and deodorisation, leather protection, nano polish of the glass inside and out, and more.
This process is designed to bring out the best of a used car, getting the life back into the paintwork and looking as new as it possibly could!
The Level 4 Detail is a step above the Level 3. Every treatment offered with the Level 3 Detail is included in the Level 4, in addition to offering up to a 99% correction factor, with 5 stages of correction where necessary. Deeper surface scratches are levelled using specifically designed finishing papers. This is the best possible detail for scratched and neglected paintwork.

Our Level 5 Detail is our Signature Detail which completely relevels the clearcoat, refining and polishing it in five stages, in order to remove “orange peel” or peaks and troughs in the clearcoat. This involves dry sanding, wet sanding, and paint correction, in order to achieve a glass like finish. This treatment is perfect for a car you want to keep and cherish for many years. This process removes around 15-20 microns from your car’s clearcoat. Automotive paint is around 260 microns on average, so this process removes less than 10% of the thickness. We recommend that we install paint protection film after this process, however, it is not essential as the paint’s longevity is not affected.
Our detailing or “enhancement” services have been described as the ‘perfect marriage between science and art’. Through our skill in rectifying and removing paint defects such as swirl marks, holograms and scratches we are able to renovate and refurbish old paint or enhance the original finish to far beyond the manufacturers capabilities.

Depending on the the level of enhancement you wish to achieve the timescale will usually range from 1 to 5 days, however some special projects and intricate cars can take longer.
Once detailed a lot depends on the maintenance of the vehicle, if maintained correctly the results can last 12 months or more, depending on the use of the car. Most clients have their cars detailed once a year and many have us carry out regular maintenance treatments in between to ensure the longevity of the finish.
The term “Orange peel” refers to paint distortion; this is the dimple effect found in the paintwork’s clear coat after it is applied at the factory. All cars possess orange peel even from new, the level of which can vary depending on the car and even the individual area of the cars bodywork.
